“First of all, I must say that it is a great relief to have a signed contract for the next season at this time already. So, I’m very happy about the continuation of my partnership with Hervé (Poncharal) and his fantastic Monster Yamaha Tech3 Team. I’m satisfied with what we have shown this season so far, including our performances during pre-season testing. But, I’m aware that there must come more from my sided. For the remaining season as well as for 2018, I think that we will make continuously progress and steps forward. Therefore, I’m already curious about what we will achieve together in the next months. But as far I would like to express my thanks to all people involved in Tech3, including my boss Hervé of course, for all that they have done for me already, as well as for their trust in me. I’m very eager to pay back it with all my commitment to give everything when riding my Yamaha YZR-M1 at any time.”
