Jonas Folger will also substitute Pol Espargaro in the French based GASGAS Factory Racing Tech3 team at the last race before the summer break.

The World Championship round in the Netherlands, which traditionally takes place on the last weekend of June, marks the end of this month’s triple header. Most of the teams still travelled 630 km directly from the Sachsenring to the northwest last Sunday evening to settle at the TT Circuit of Assen. After a good weekend at his home race in Germany, Jonas Folger has only one goal in mind and that is to continue his adaptation to the KTM RC16.

After Jonas Folger had the great pleasure of riding in front of his home crowd again last weekend, he can count on the support of his compatriots this time as well, as the famous TT circuit is just a stone’s throw away from the northern German border. Folger made significant progress aboard the RC16 at the Sachsenring and was able to further reduce the gap to the other riders. In the Netherlands, his goal will be to try out different things so that he feels even more comfortable on the bike.

#94 Jonas FOLGER (GASGAS Factory Racing Tech3, KTM RC16):

“I am very happy to go to Assen for the next Grand Prix with the Tech3 team. Even if the results in Germany do not reflect it, we have improved and reduced the gap with the other riders, which is a positive point for me. In any case, we will work a little differently this weekend with a new plan, because I still need to find my way to ride the bike faster. We have a few things in mind to try, so it will be a very important weekend for us. Hopefully the weather will play along so we can make everything happen. Besides, I am looking forward to riding in front of the many German fans again.”
